Interview with Bradford A Smith (NASA astronomer) about Mars Mariner 4 mission in 1964

In this exceprt from the 2001 oral history recording, planetary astronomer Bradford A. Smith reflects on his involvement in NASA’s Mariner spacecraft missions to Mars in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and his experiences during the early years of the Astronomy Department at New Mexico State University.
